Liz and Paul have more than twenty-five years of experience in bespoke picture framing. Both started out working for a picture framing company in Truro (that's where they met) where they learned all the skills needed to offer a wide range of picture framing options. All picture framing is carried out on site in the workshop upstairs above the gallery.

Quality Materials.
We use the best quality materials, after all it's what you treasured artwork deserves. We don't sell readymade frames, we leave that to the big stores. Everything in our workshop is made to order involving a fully bespoke service.
Even our most affordable range of bespoke picture frames are made with mouldings which are wood based. We don't use "Polcore" (plastic composite) and we avoid using any MDF wrapped mouldings as we know that they do not cope well with our damp Cornish climate. Our glazed frames are backed with conservation grade Artbak and our minimum mount board specification is white-core, meaning that the bevel edge won't go brown over time but will stay a nice bright white. We can also offer conservation grade and cotton mountboard for extra special protection.

Specialist Glass and Conservation Framing
Every picture is special whether a simple family photo or an original painting and some require extra special treatment. Atishoo picture framing offer the option of using conservation grade mount boards and specialist glass, including acid etched anti reflection, UV filtering glass and the one we really love which is AR 70 glass which is almost invisible! Come and look at our sample in the shop, some people really can't believe there's glass in it!
Designer Mouldings
We have a large selection of Larson Juhl mouldings available. These mouldings are beautifully finished, and of the highest quality, guaranteed to stand the test of time and become design classics.
How to order frames
Please bring your artwork, photo or item into the gallery for a free no obligation consultation. We can advise you on how to best protect your work.
We can frame prints, photographs, needlework, cross stitches, tapestries, oil paintings, watercolours, medals, dried flowers, keepsakes, sports shirts and much more.
If you need framing glass replaced we can help and we can cut new mounts to fit frames you already own.
Please note our current lead time on framing orders is four weeks, although in the run up to Christmas we get very busy so it's best to get your orders in as soon as possible.
